The controls are not good. When you crouch the crosshair goes up and away from the thing I was trying to look at. The shooting is not fun and feels it it goes against platformering to music. Speaking of which, for a music generated game I cannot feel the music having any sort of impact. There is no build up just seemely random walls with holes in them. It does not help that it asks me to perform high jumps while only giving me an medium jump. You can run on walls but it is disorienting as there is nothing visual on the wall pass about your knee height. Even moving the crosshair on its own feels weird and disorienting.. I can honestly say that it fullfills a lot of gameplay for such a low price. The ability to play any song you want makes the game so much better! It truly is worth $5 but at its low price there is no reason not to pick it up! It is great and I enjoy playing it! I look forward to more maps and more updates! The game is very well made and I am very impressed that it was made by only one person. Not only are you getting this very fun game, you are helping the developer so I feel good about buying this. No regrets.. This is one of those games that have great ideas but poor execution and I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone until they fix it. This game is pretty much audiosurf (yes, custom music) but an fps, except there are more controls and is wonky as hell. Controls are unresponsive and glitchy. Holding space while jumping off the wall causes some sort of stroke, it just feels off. Lives pretty much are useless considering that the game almost always spawns you so close to a wall that you can't dodge it. One other thing that bugged me was that using the exit button causes the game to stop responding/crash instead of cleanly closing (although this could be a Unity thing). The only upside of this is the custom music import feature and graphics. You can choose from a couple of different themes which include v a p o u r w a v e and a nice looking visualiser in the background.tl;dr: Bad controls but good visuals. I got a ton of fun out of this game, I play on insane because the rest are too easy in my opinion. Totally worth more than $0.99. Probably one of the best games ive ever bought for 99 cents.
